REVIT #4 : CREATING MULTILINE TEXT IN REVIT KEYNOTE TEXT 1. Click on the Annotate tab > Keynote > Keynoting Setting to open your Keynote location. 2. Find the Keynote location in your computer and you will find the Keynote is in the text format. 3. The Keynote is divided into "Parent" and "Child" section. 4. The number "0001" is the Parent number and "1" is the Child number. 5. In this tutorial, I'm using Keynote Tag that has Keynote Text. You can also use Key Value in your Keynote Tag family. 6. REVIT #2 : CREATING A 150mm BRICKWALL 1. To create a wall, go to Architecture > Wall. You can choose "Wall: Architectural", "Wall: Structural", or "Wall by Face". In this project, I basically choose "Wall: Structural". 2. Choose "Basic Wall Generic - 200mm" to create your own wall. 3. Click on "Edit Type" and you will see the Type Properties interface. 4. Click on "Duplicate" to duplicate wall and rename it as BRICKWALL - 150mm. Click OK. 5. To edit the thickness of the wall, go to Type Parameters > Parameter > Construction > Structure > Edit... 6. REVIT #3 : CREATING A 3 LINES BRICKWALL HATCH 1. Previously, I've made a tutorial on how to create a brickwall. Now I want to show you how to to create the hatching line. 2. Select your brickwall or any wall in your Properties and click on Edit Type. 3. Duplicate the wall and rename it as "BRICKWALL 3 LINE HATCH - 150mm" or make your own brickwall name. Click OK. 4. Click Edit to view your Edit Assembly interface. 5. Click on Material (small square in a box). 6. You will see the Material Browser interface, right click on "Brick, Common", duplicate it and rename it as "Brick, 3 LINE HATCH". 7. You will notice that the Shading, Surface Pattern, and Cut Pattern are still same, do not change the Shading and Surface Pattern. 8.
